	A few hours spent with the famous photographer *Ansel Adams* cemented in Robert Hall a belief that technical mastery and dedication to craft empower any artist to realize their vision

		Robert met “The Master” while a photography major at De Anza College in Cupertino CA. A serious photographer since high school, Robert went on to gain experience in aerial imagery and photojournalism in the Army. His technical skills led to a 20+ year career in aerospace doing scientific photography. Wedding photography, commercial clients and personal projects allowed more creativity.


	In 1994, Robert brought his talents to the West Slope with the purchase of Sierra Scene Photography.After moving to our second Main St. Placerville address in 2001, wife Anne joined the team and the studio was renamed as Robert Hall Photography.


	In 2007 a dream was realized with the construction of a dedicated studio space on our own property in Placerville. Babies, high-school seniors, business portraits and small products are studio mainstays. Family portraits, engagement portraits and weddings take us to locations throughout El Dorado county and Northern California.


	Married to Anne since 1972, the two enjoy grand kids, motorcycle rides and travel. Traditional black & white darkroom printing, panoramic photography, DVD “slideshows” with music and restorations are among current pet personal projects.
